Bendigo Truck Centre is seeking an experienced Warranty Clerk to take ownership of warranty administration across our busy truck dealership.
This is an important role requiring accuracy, persistence and a strong understanding of dealership warranty processes. You will work closely with our Service Department, technicians and manufacturers to ensure warranty claims are prepared correctly, submitted promptly and followed through to payment.
We are looking for someone who understands that successful warranty administration is not simply data entry. It requires attention to detail, sound judgement, strong follow-up and the confidence to challenge incomplete information before a claim is submitted.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing, submitting and managing manufacturer warranty claims

Reviewing job cards, technician reports, parts usage and supporting documentation
-
Ensuring all claims comply with manufacturer policies and submission deadlines

Liaising directly with manufacturers regarding claim approvals, rejections and additional information

Monitoring outstanding claims and following them through to final payment
-
Managing rejected, returned and amended claims
-
Identifying missed warranty recovery opportunities
-
Maintaining accurate warranty records and documentation
-
Assisting with workshop administration and repair order processing
-
Communicating with customers when warranty updates or additional information are required

Working closely with Service Advisors, technicians, Parts and management

Supporting warranty audits and maintaining strong compliance standards
About You
To be successful, you will have:
-
Previous experience as a Warranty Clerk or Warranty Administrator within an automotive, truck, machinery or equipment dealership

A sound understanding of manufacturer warranty claim processes

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

The ability to interpret job cards, technician reports and supporting repair documentation
-
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
-
The ability to manage multiple claims and competing deadlines
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Confidence liaising with manufacturers, customers and internal departments
-
A proactive approach to following up outstanding claims

Good computer and dealership management system skills
-
A professional, accountable and process-driven work ethic
Experience within a truck or heavy-vehicle dealership will be highly regarded.

Workshop Controller
We are looking for a strong, driven and process-focused Workshop Controller to take control of our busy truck workshop and help drive it to the next level.
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and let the day happen around them. We need a direct, firm and results-orientated leader who can control workflow, push productivity, hold people accountable and make sure jobs move through the workshop properly from start to finish.
You will be the link between technicians, service advisors, parts, management and customers. Your job is to make sure the workshop runs with structure, urgency and discipline.
We are looking for someone with genuine passion for the industry and the strength of character to lead from the front. This role requires someone who can make decisions, drive the team, manage pressure and keep control of the workshop floor.
